Judge Timothy Philpot thinks that being gay is an idle pastime that distracts from the serious business of producing children. Not everyone can or should raise children, but whether such distraction has stymied his own fatherhood becomes the obvious question. Tim Philpot is a judge in Fayette County Family Court, Lexington Kentucky. In this video is an extract of his public speeches given to the Francis Asbury Society in Wilmore, Kentucky in which he describes his experiences in family court.

What I’m saying here is that God doesn’t care about gonads and chromosomes. When we sit on his lap, our sexuality doesn’t matter one iota. When he sees our hearts and minds and souls, we are all hermaphrodites in his eyes.   Therefore, spiritually speaking our gender and sexual identity is meaningless. Unless we want to perform a legal commitment ceremony – then it becomes really important. I know it’s confusing but there’s probably an appendix in the bible that explains it.
